ABOUT Henriette (Eva) S. Hvingelby

Henriette Eva Hvingelby PhD, ACNP has 21 years of experience as a health care clinician focusing on acute illnesses, palliative care and mental health. She has cared for patients in all environments from the intensive care unit, to the home. In addition, she spent seven years researching and supporting outreach to marginalized populations across the globe as part of a conflict mediation program. As a clinician, she believes in a whole body, whole person approach to wellness that includes exercise, mindfulness, therapy, and medications as indicated. Compassion and acceptance are the foundation of her clinical philosophy. She is an avid traveler and has lived in Denmark, Ethiopia and the United States. She has also traveled throughout much of Europe, and visited Thailand, Cambodia, China and Mexico. In her private time she supports her local wildlife animal rescue, and has many rescue dogs and cats at home.
