Heidi Walblay is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She obtained her Bachelors in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University, and her Masters in Nursing from Walden University. Heidi has over 15 years of clinical experience across a variety of settings. She has enjoyed working with clients in the community through the emergency department and inpatient hospital setting, the incarcerated and homeless population with severe mental health and substance use diagnoses, at risk children and families, group therapy, inpatient psychiatric hospital and facilities, developmental disabilities, and non-profit community mental health. She aims to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion for all. Helidi believes that the client-provider relationship is a partnership, and working together is essential. She also realizes the fundamental importance of identifying and considering all aspects of an individual’s life that impacts their well-being overall – including physical health, support systems, work/school environment, stigmas clients may face, and faith/values/belief systems/spirituality. It is her goal to hear you, to see you, and help guide you to live a more vibrant, connected, and embodied life.
I once read in my physics book that the universe begs to be observed, that energy travels and transfers when people pay attention. Maybe that's what love really boils down to--having someone who cares enough to pay attention so that you're encouraged to travel and transfer, to make your potential energy spark into kinetic energy. -Jasmine Warga, My Heart and Other Black Holes
