Heather Werlinger is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She started her career as a labor and delivery nurse after staying home to raise her four children. She worked in several different hospitals, with very diverse populations. She then went on to obtain a Master of Science in Nursing, focusing on care across the lifespan. Her passion for caring for mothers at a pivotal moment in their lives, and the inequality of that care based on community resources is what excites her about the providing care regardless of location. When she is not working you will find her spending time with her husband and adult children, repurposing forgotten treasures of the past, or relaxing with book.
