Hannah Nesbeda is a board-certified nurse practitioner. After graduating college with a degree in psychology she went on to become a registered nurse and worked in intensive/critical care for a number of years before pursuing her Master of Science in Nursing. She has spent the past eight years working in a large and diverse urban academic practice, providing primary care for adults from all walks of life. Over the course of her career she has developed a particular clinical interest in mental health and psychiatry, especially for those patients that might otherwise have limited access to compassionate, high quality, and stigma-free care. She believes that the most important tool in providing mental health care is listening to her patients and understanding who they are and what they value, to develop a partnership with their specific and individual goals in mind. When not working, Hannah can often be found playing with her three high-energy dogs, trying out a new recipe, exploring her love of textile arts, or weeding her vegetable garden.
