Gloria Nwagbara is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who loves to work in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams for better health care provision.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Texas Woman’s University College of Nursing Dallas, Texas and worked as Med-surg RN at Parkland hospital Dallas and other hospitals. Her zeal to help mental health population propelled her to transfer from med-surg unit of Parkland hospital to the psychiatric unit of same hospital where she has worked for over five years.
This passion to provide better care and accessibility to all mental health individuals as well as creating awareness about mental illness came to realization when she obtained a master of science in nursing with specialty in psychiatric mental health.
She loves reading, exercising and quiet meditation.
