Gloria B Williams is a board-certified nurse practitioner and bring over four decades of healthcare experience. She uses a unique and innovative approach to provide personalized care plans for her patients. She started her career working as a Registered nurse in Trinidad and Tobago after migrating to the United States in 1989. She has worked in many states across the US which includes New York, North Carolina and South Carolina.
Her ultimate goal in life was to be a nurse Practitioner. She then went on to receive a Master of Science in Nursing in Education with focus as a Nurse Practitioner and served as director of a major program at the Veteran’s Medical Center, Columbia SC. She has worked in many diverse areas including Hospice/ palliative care, acute care and Geriatric care. She has collaborated with interdisciplinary teams to treat patients with psychiatric disorders.
Her training experiences in both large metropolitan areas and very rural areas with limited access to health care have ignited a passion to provide access to affordable, quality mental health care no matter where a patient may be located.
In her free time, you can find her walking with her husband and their dogs to improve and maintain her health, travelling to various cities around the world and cooking a nutritious meal.
