Gloria Cheung is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She started on the pre-med track as an undergraduate at UC Berkeley, then pivoted to nursing for its holistic and person-centered care model. She started her career working as a medical receptionist at a chronic pain management clinic, where she began to appreciate the relationships between mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health. Gloria completed her Bachelors in Nursing at CSU Los Angeles, then her Master of Science in Nursing at UC San Francisco. Most of her clinical experience has been community-based, spanning a wide range of diagnoses and ages. She is particularly interested in the intersectionality of spirituality and mental health, namely how the two relate to one another. In her free time, you can find her serving at her local church as a worship leader and spiritual mentor for college students, volunteering at the Scott Arboretum at Swarthmore, exploring new sights and foods in the greater Philadelphia region, or reading Harry Potter.
