Genna Alden is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner. She completed her Undergraduate in Nursing from Winona State in 2010. She started her career as a floor nurse at Mayo Clinic hospitals in various specialties: bariatric, general surgery, hematology, and oncology. She then went on the work at Masonic Children’s Hospital in neonates and pediatrics while pursuing her masters degree in nursing. After completing her masters degree in 2017, she practiced as a Nurse Practitioner in both rural and urban settings.
Through 12+ years of practice and training, her passion for better, more accessible mental health care began. She believes an individual’s quality of life and physical health starts with their mental and emotional well-being.
In her free time, Genna enjoys many outdoor pursuits including running, biking, and backpacking. She also enjoys baking for her husband and two sons or curling up on the couch with a good book or to watch the latest anime or Korean drama.
