Elham Hamzeh is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She started her career as a midwife, practicing as a provider in Iran, and after migrating to the United States, she completed her Registered Nursing Degree and worked in different settings, such as home health, hospice, skilled nursing facility, and as an independent consultant for 15 years. She then went on to receive a Master’s in Nursing, with the focus specialty as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Elham has worked in many diverse areas including outpatient clinic, inpatient detox and rehab, psychiatric emergency, and dual diagnosis youth program. Her training experiences in both large metropolitan areas and very rural areas with limited access to health care have ignited a passion to provide access to affordable, quality mental health care no matter where a patient may be located. In her free time, you can find her playing with her puppy Chow Chow, baking, cooking various international dishes, and walking on the beach.
