Dianne Villani is a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner. Dianne cultivated her passion for healing over many years. She volunteered as a peer counselor while still in college, then went on to work in social work and substance abuse counseling. After her children were born she became a certified doula and when she was ready to re-enter the work force full time she completed the Master’s Entry in Nursing program at the University of Vermont. Giving patients plenty of time and a supportive environment is the cornerstone of Dianne’s approach. Years of working with patients with persistent symptoms and her own journey through chronic illness have given Dianne unique insight. Dianne believes healing begins with trust and thrives with acceptance. She empowers her patients to define wellness for themselves and to create healthy habits that fit into their lives. When she’s not seeing patients, you can probably find Dianne digging in the garden, hiking with her two little dogs, or working on her self-built camper van.
Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars. - Kahlil Gibran
