ABOUT Danielle Koreny

Danielle M Koreny is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She began her nursing career by working as a patient care assistant at a diverse medical-surgical unit in 1990 while simultaneously training for her BSN. She then journeyed across the country as a travel nurse at multiple large teaching hospitals where she gained valuable hands-on experience managing complex illnesses and dealing with both families and other healthcare workers as they all experienced the detrimental impact of stress from increased burdens of fragmented care within the healthcare system.
With over 25 years of practical experience, Danielle returned to school to earn her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Arizona State University while continuing to work and lead her hospital's primary COVID unit during the height of the pandemic. She also completed the Integrative Health and Lifestyle program (IHeLp) at the University of Arizona, which led her to explore integrative, complementary, alternative healing modalities. This sparked her passion for helping people reach their full potential by having accessible, affordable, high-quality mental health care. In her free time, she loves to travel to unique Airbnb’s, attend spiritual alternative healing retreats and conferences, is a voracious reader, and is constantly discovering ways to support people on their path to well-being.
