I am a family nurse practitioner and also a mental health nurse practitioner. I have four beautiful and successful children, two grand babies and a beautiful dog named Chester. I have been in the medical field for 18 years and I have seen a lot and learned a lot. I love what I do for many reasons. I enjoy taking care of people and making someone’s life easier to deal with because life in general can be so hard and challenging. I have found myself in situations where I have cried with my patients and family and then when I have been in shock at some of things people go through. I have managed to make it through it and helped the patient and their families and that is such an honor.
I love to read, dance, and exercise and especially spend time with my grand babies. I am going to finish my Doctorate in nursing and hopefully have my own clinic in the future. I learn something new every day in my field and that keeps everything interesting for me. I hope I am changing the life’s for my patients and helping through the hard times. I take pride in what I do and I give 100% because that is what I would expect.
