Courtney Tafoya is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 17 years of experience in treating adolescents and adults with mental health issues and substance use disorders and nursing leadership. Experience spans across mental health, substance use, ICU, ER, and med-surgical environments. Her education includes a Bachelor of Science degree from Fairmont State University and a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University. She currently provides services to diverse communities with past experiences in Inpatient psychiatry and inpatient substance use and detox. A few of her areas of expertise include Bipolar, ADHD, depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Courtney provides care with a whole person approach considering the emotional, mental, and physical health of each patient. She listens to her patients concerns and develops a plan to help patients best achieve their personal goals.
