Christine Ellis is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner. She started her career as a nursing assistant in a long-term care facility and then went on to receive her Registered Nursing degree. She worked in a hospital setting in various areas such as pediatrics, pediatric intensive care unit, hospice, and adult intensive care unit.
She then went on to receive a Masters in Science of Nursing degree to work as an Advanced Practice Provider. She started off in urgent care and began the development of an occupational health program. After that she worked in a skilled nursing and rehab facility, and then later on began working in a primary care setting taking care of retired military members and their families.
Her training and experiences over the years with various age groups and a diverse population, has identified the urgent need for easily accessible and affordable mental health care.
In her free time she enjoys reading and spending time with her family. She also enjoys caring for their pets, which includes a dog, cat, rabbit, and a tortoise.
