ABOUT Christine Gransden

Christine Gransden is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She started her nursing career in 2006 working as an RN at a local hospital. Through her nursing career she gained a diverse skill set as she cared for patients in the emergency department, cardiac progressive care, intensive care, medical/surgical and the wound clinic. She eventually returned to school and obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner certification. Her role as a nurse practitioner started in psychiatry and has remained there due to her passion for improving the quality of people’s lives through excellent mental health care. She brings experience in managing patient care in hospital inpatient geriatric behavioral health, hospital inpatient adult behavioral health, outpatient partial hospitalization program and an esketamine clinic. She has seen the difficulties in lining up outpatient psychiatric care for patients which has led to her desire to expand access to mental health services despite the proximity to larger cities or health systems.

Christine is a provider who is passionate about educating patients about their mental health and medications. She is energetic, positive, and has a genuine interest in connecting with people. She enjoys summer and all outdoor activities that come with the season, reading, and spending time with her husband and 5 children.

The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall. -Nelson Mandela
