Chibuzo Nwigbo is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She began her healthcare career as a pharmacy technician 20 years ago. She then went on to complete her Registered Nursing degree and has worked in inpatient and outpatient settings of hospitals across the country and believes quality mental health care is just as important as physical health. She received her Masters as a Nurse Practitioner from Georgetown University and her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Johns Hopkins University. Chibuzo’s training experience in urban and rural areas with limited access to mental health care ignited a passion for increasing access to high-quality and compassionate mental healthcare that is affordable and convenient. She also has experience managing patients with anxiety and depression and partners with her patients to develop a workable and individualized treatment plan.
