Chantal Flanagan is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She has 33 years of experience working in the psychiatric mental health field. Chantal earned her Master's degree as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Child and Adolescent Mental Health from UCSF and her Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certificate from Rush University. She has worked in all areas of mental health with varying populations including inpatient, intensive outpatient, and outpatient for children, adolescents, and adults. While prescribing and evaluating the effectiveness of medications is her primary focus she also provides brief solution focused therapy as well as CBT/DBT. She practices with a nonjudgmental, supportive, and team approach which quickly places her patients or clients at ease. During her free time she enjoys hikes with her dog, Zoey, and cooking dinner for her family.
