Carolyn Tellez is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She started her career working as a bedside nurse in the neurological intensive care unit at a trauma hospital and quickly realized her passion was in behavioral health. She started working at a locked psychiatric facility and began caring for clients who were experiencing an acute crisis. Carolyn returned to school to specialize in mental health, across the life span, receiving a Master of Science in Nursing from Gonzaga University. Carolyn’s training experiences in both large hospitals and outpatient clinics have emphasized the need for access to affordable, quality mental health care no matter where a patient may be located. In her free time, you can find her hanging out with, training, or walking her dogs, hiking, or traveling.
