Camellia Douglas, a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), provides psychiatric and mental health care, including assessment, diagnosis and treatment for patients across the lifespan. Camellia graduated with honors from Eastern Kentucky University with a Master of Science in Nursing degree with Mental Health concentration in 2017. Camellia has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from UNC at Chapel Hill (2006). Her previously diverse background in nursing, including caring for those in an acute care mental health facility, is when her passion for helping others who suffer from mental health challenges was reaffirmed. She has also worked for the last few years caring for patients in the outpatient setting with various mental health conditions. Camellia takes pride in her compassionate, patient-centered approach, with focus on the importance of education and self-advocacy. Camellia enjoys spending time with her family and is motivated by anything that promotes personal development.
