Caitlin May is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with a special interest in mental health and lifestyle wellness. While studying at The University of Notre Dame, she developed curiosities in psychology, human resilience, and the effects of trauma on individuals and populations. After completing a master's degree in nursing, she spent eight years caring for psychiatric and medical patients in ERs on the east and west coasts. On completion of her post-master's studies, she worked as a primary care provider and treated patients with anxiety, depression, insomnia, bipolar disorder, and PTSD. Caitlin's experiences have taught her much about the importance in the mind-body connection. She knows that competence and kindness are essential to providing good care, and she is excited to meet her patients' needs in a way that is accessible and affordable. Caitlin enjoys surfing, running, playing guitar, and poetry; she is endlessly grateful for good music and dogs.
How we spend our days is, of course, how we spend our lives. - Annie Dillard
