Brenda Wager is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her RN diploma from Moline Public Hospital School of Nursing in 1987. She enjoyed 15 years of bedside nursing in various specialties from Medical Surgical to Obstetrics. She worked in hospital leadership for the 9 years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Illinois at Chicago in 2016. She wanted to return to the bedside and pursued her Master of Science in Nursing from University of Illinois at Chicago specializing in Family Practice. She worked in a rural health clinic for the past 4 years where she developed her passion for behavior health. She holds a national certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) as a family nurse practitioner.
Brenda lives in Illinois with her husband of 37 years. They have 2 grown children and 5 grandchildren. She loves to spend time with them and loves to have the family to her home to cook for them. She loves to travel and loves the beach. Cleaning house and gardening are not her favorite things to do...but loves the results when it's done!
