Ashlie is an Adult-Geriatric Nurse Practitioner who earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree so she can provide the highest level of care to her clients. She has practiced in western North Carolina where some of her patients must travel over two hours for in person visits. In addition to her almost two decades in healthcare making her aware of the lack of quality mental healthcare providers in many areas, she further realized the importance of having access to quality mental healthcare during her own struggles with post-partum depression and anxiety. Ashlie has also worked extensively with LGBTQI and other marginalized populations who unfortunately have difficulty accessing needed medical and mental health care. Her focus is on whole mind-body wellness and empowering clients by providing evidence-based education and care. Ashlie believes that each client should be heard, believed, and educated regarding their condition so they can make informed decisions about their own health. In her free time, she enjoys family and friend time, time with her pets, anything outdoors, and discovering new authors to read.
