Ashley R. Zimmerman is a University of Michigan master’s degree graduate and board-certified Nurse Practitioner who also possesses a bachelor’s degree in psychology; committed and compassionate. Ashley has been described as understanding, sincere, down-to-earth, and easy to talk with. She is passionate about alleviating both physical and psychological suffering. Ashley’s approach to mental health encompasses a holistic vision. Ashley is a fierce advocate for destigmatizing the need for mental health treatment; she believes every person has the right to live the best life possible. To provide the greatest care for her patients, Ashley continuously stays up to date on the latest developments and research in the mental health industry. To de-stress, Ashley enjoys shinrin-yoku, a Japanese practice that translates as “forest bathing”. As an avid dog lover, Ashley brings her pup (Stella) with her on her shinrin-yoku adventures. As a foody, she enjoys delicious meals and conversations with friends and family.
