Anyi Asongacha has completed every step of her nursing program in the United States including my master’s program at Indiana Wesleyan university. She has been in the healthcare industry for 16 years. She has a diverse background, mental health and medical simultaneously. She has worked with patients ranging from adolescent through geriatric. She seeks to utilize her experience, education, skills, and exceptional work ethics to provide quality patient care in an outpatient, or community health setting. She values the needs of every patient and work with them in realizing their goals through an individualized plan of care.
She started off as a Nursing assistant where she worked at the nursing home taking care of the geriatric patients, as well as part time job with individuals with physical and developmental disabilities. She returned to school, and obtained her diploma as a License Practical Nurse where she continued at the nursing home. A few years later, she returned to school and got her associate degree in Nursing –Registered Nurse, worked at the Hospital as well as Home Care Nursing then moved into correctional nursing where she completed my bachelor’s degree while working in corrections. While in corrections, she held several positions/duties. After she completed my MSN, she decided to continue her practice in the community setting. She has worked in multiple facilities and strongly believes that optimal care, holistic approach to care, and diversity can help serve both the interest of the patients and the success of the organization while maintaining our individual integrities. She likes shopping, reading, traveling, cooking, exploring new cultures, and learning new languages.
