Anthony DeChristopher is a board-certified nurse practitioner. Before pursuing a career as a nurse practitioner, he served over 9 years in the United States Army Special Forces. It was during his career as a Green Beret that he developed a heart for mental health and recognized the pervasive need for quality and empathetic mental health care. He started his career in mental health working as a psychiatric registered nurse at an inpatient psychiatric hospital. He then went on to receive a Master of Science in Nursing at Seattle University. He has worked in many diverse areas including Primary care, Urgent Care, and Psychiatry. As a result of his military experience, he has traveled the world and has a wealth of experience in cross cultural communication. In his free time, you can find him working on his ranch, rock climbing, and attending his children’s sporting events.
