My name is Anthonia Udeh-Okey. She has DNP, FNP-C, and PMHN B-C. Currently, she is working as an NP in a Primary Care Home with the Los Angeles County Sheriff taking care of incarcerated adult women both their mental and medical needs. She has fifteen years of work experience as a registered nurse in diverse areas of nursing, precepted numerous FNP students, and offered an education guide for the newly hired registered nurses as a charge nurse. Some days I work as an adjunct professor at Charle's Drew University for students aspiring to get their Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner's education. She is detailed in clinical practice using the most evidence-based practice in primary care, basic GYN/OB care, medical-surgical, internal/ family medicine, sub-acute, psychiatry, adult/geriatric nursing, and women’s health. Also, highly proficient in advanced physical assessment, pharmacology, and knowledge of the devices and upcoming technologies. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her three wonderful children. She believes in Casita Roy's theory of Adaptation as a model that focuses on changes experienced by human beings as they respond to the environment or stress to maintain one's mental integrity. She loves traveling and listening to Christian songs.
