Angelic (Angel) is intensively trained as a board certified nurse practitioner, with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Medical University of South Carolina. She started her career with experience spanning across various settings which has provided exposure and expertise to a variety of perspectives, situations and challenges. She has worked in both residential and outpatient settings providing services to large metropolitan and rural areas with limited access to care. She is passionate about providing quality, compassionate, and comprehensive mental health services to adolescents and adults.
Angel provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management with special attention to individual needs, including attention to each patient's personal history, his or her specific context, stressful or traumatic life experiences or circumstances, each patient's particular concerns about, or fears of medications, all of which she approaches with patience, warmth, understanding, and helpful explanations that facilitate treatment and the patient's sense of comfort and trust. Angelic applies her experience and compassion with clients as they begin to address issues that will help them to improve their quality of life and attain a sense of fulfillment. Angel believes in supporting individuals on their journey toward their own wellness through a nonjudgmental, compassionate and collaborative approach. In her free time, Angel enjoys riding, running, reading, hiking, outdoor activities, traveling and spending time with family, friends and dog.
