Amanda Smith is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She began her career in healthcare in 2012 when she started working as a Registered Nurse. Not long after becoming an RN she obtained her Master’s Degree in Nursing through Herzing University located in Birmingham, AL. She has worked in many diverse areas including acute care, long-term care, rehab, and hospice. Amanda is passionate about helping others better understand and manage their mental illness. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, swimming, hiking, and being active in her community.
