Amanda McDaniel has worked in biomedicine for 25 years. She started as a laboratory scientist then moved from the experimental to the practical when she transitioned to Registered Nurse on a stroke unit. Her primary interest has always been the brain. After seeing the effects of brain chemistry and structure (and disruptions of both) on mood and mental health, she became a PMHNP. Amanda works with clients of all ages, but has an affinity for the geriatric population, women’s health issues, and those in the medical field. She works in partnership with clients to find the solutions for their mental health needs that best suit their goals, their lifestyle, and their budget.
Taking care of your mental health is just as important as taking care of your physical health. - Anonymous
