Alex Almond is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She began her career in a pediatric Psychiatric facility and then went on to work on an adult Psychiatric unit in a hospital. She received her master's degree in Nursing with a focus in Psychiatry and Mental Health from Walden University. Her training experience includes working in rural areas with limited access to Providers and affordable care. Her hobbies include reading, Yoga, taking care of plants, and spending time outside with her dog.
