Alessandra Glaser is a board certified family medicine physician. After residency in the cold tundra of Mayo Clinic, she worked for three years as the sole doctor in an emergency department in Tennessee. There, she gained experience in treating psychiatric emergencies. She also realized the lack of access patients have for mental health care before they develop into crises. She often saw how childhood and adult trauma leads to psychiatric illness if people do not have the help they need to heal. She began working with Cerebral because hurting people first seek to be understood and listened to. Cerebral provides this platform around the country. Outside of work, she helps raise two wild and sweet sons with her husband Michael. Her favorite book is In the realm of Hungry Ghosts..She considers good pickle ball rallies as a form of therapy. She loves her family and friends with triple layer cakes, almond toffee, and homemade caramel apples.
