Alecia DiLisa is a board certified nurse practitioner. She started her career working as a certified nurse's aide at an urban hospital serving the under-priviledged and mentally unwell at the age of 16. Alecia went on to become a registered nurse continuing on her service in hospitals, correctional facilities and working with those on hospice care. Alecia then went on to receive a Master of Science in Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Nursing Practice. She has worked in many diverse areas from Geriatric Primary and Psychiatric care, Urgent Care, Hormone Replacement Therapy and Psychiatry, always focusing on addressing health and wellness from within at root causes. Her background caring for individuals with a lack of access to care from the smallest towns, to the largest cities along with her own journey towards wellness has made her passionate about providing not just quality care, but also supporting and educating patients along their own journey towards health and wellness. In her free time you can find her working on her fitness, wrangling 3 crazy pups and a crazy husband or trying to get lost in the wilderness.
