Abdul Malike is a board-certified nurse practitioner. He started as a nursing assistant some twenty-five years ago and worked up the nursing ladder. He has a doctorate in nursing practice degree. He has worked in many diverse fields of nursing, including intensive and emergency care, long-term and home care, hospice and palliative nursing, public health, correctional health nursing, and nursing education. He has a master’s degree in nursing education. As a provider, he has traveled the length and breadth of the rural areas in Virginia, seeing patients at their homes who otherwise would not have access to quality and efficient care. In his free time, he is busy reading novels and following sports. He is a huge fan of sports and follows all of the major sports.
