Yvette Williams earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Hunter College’s Silberman School of Social Work. As a daughter, sister, friend, aunt, cousin, and member of society, Yvette has seen the way unresolved mental health issues affects people and their love ones. Seeing this affect along with her passion to help others, fuels Yvette’s will to learn and teach others about obtaining/maintaining mental health. Yvette experience includes individuals from different backgrounds and utilizes goal setting, re-framing, positive self talk, meditation, mindfulness, and many other mental health tools. Yvette uses her passion to end the stigma regarding mental health and help educate people on how to obtain and maintain a healthy mental state. In her free time, Yvette likes to binge watch tv shows, care for her houseplants, read books, video game, and spend time with loved ones among other things.
