Tina Younoszai holds a Doctorate in Human Development and Educational Psychology and has worked in academia and non-profits settings serving families around health and wellness initiatives. She has taught classes in psychology, family systems/relationships, science of happiness and habit change. She became a certified life and mindset coach after going through her own bumpy journey with having a child struggle with mental health. She uses principals of positive psychology (focusing on a person’s strengths) to help her clients gain self-awareness and clarity to move forward with acceptance, hope, and purpose. Tina meets clients where they are; walks with them as they build their toolbox toward mental well-being, health, and overall happiness. She uses evidenced-based practices from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and emotion focused therapy to lead her clients to the best possible outcomes in creating the life they want. In her free time, Tina enjoys spending time in nature, sharing ice cream with her dog, and listening to a good podcast.
