Taylor Szewcyk is a Professional Counselor who holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Cleveland State University. She has always been passionate about helping others and has witnessed the impact of acceptance and understanding on mental health through her early volunteering experiences which include advocating for anti-bullying programs and minority groups. She has worked with children and families with various mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, negative self-perceptions, self- esteem, trust, and acceptance of self. Taylor has utilized a variety of theoretical orientations and evidence-based practices to promote growth and progress towards individualized goals including art therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Person-Centered Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Gestalt techniques.
