Tara Kustra holds a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Carlow University in Pittsburgh, PA. As a working mom of young children, she understands the stress that comes with busy daily schedules and the changing dynamics of relationships within a growing family. Tara’s experience includes working with parents and families to help improve familial relationships by utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, including re-framing, goal-setting and positive self-talk. She also specializes in stress-reduction techniques and coping mechanisms. Tara strives to utilize her education to improve the quality and access to mental health services and to promote mental health therapy to all. She believes that everyone can benefit from therapy! In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing with her new puppy, and watching movies!
