Suchika Siotia is passionate about her work to help individuals and couples facing intimacy, sexual health concerns, emotional, behavioral, and interpersonal challenges in their lives. She draws on evidence-based practices that result in positive and long-term outcomes. She utilizes an eclectic approach, whereby she implements third-wave cognitive behavioral therapy, including DBT, ACT, and mindfulness-based therapeutic modalities. She follows the bio-psycho-social-spiritual model to conceptualize the client’s concerns and understand the client’s values, a belief system that contributes towards the presenting concerns. Suchika’s extensive training in India and the United States enables her to provide a holistic and tailored treatment based on client’s needs. Coming from a diverse country, Suchika understands the importance of culture in mental health and aims to provide multicultural counseling services that align with her client's background. She is sensitive to her client’s well-being and implements effective methods to assist clients in developing self-compassion and encourage them to adopt new attitudes and feelings towards life situations.
