Stefanie Burnham has a Master's in East-West Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies with a certificate in Ecoresilience and Transformative Leadership. Her passion for mental health stems from a personal curiousity about wholeness, where she felt like something was missing from psychiatric care. Stefanie learned an integrative approach towards well-being where depression, grief, anxiety, and existential crises are opportunities, not problems. Her experience has involved working in various healthcare settings over the past five years, including at a mental health rehabilitation unit where she practiced Ecopsychology. Stefanie facilitates personal development tools like nature-based connection, meditation, visualization, breathwork, re-framing, self-inquiry, and somatic experiencing in client sessions. She is an advocate for the creative, intelligent, and symbolic process of mental health. In her free time she's usually drinking chai tea, hiking in a Redwood forest, dancing, writing, or sunset-gazing.
Nothing makes the light, the wonder, the treasure stand out so well as darkness. ― Clarissa Pinkola Estés
