ABOUT Starlene Delp

Starlene holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Starlene has first-hand knowledge of the impact of unresolved mental health and substance related issues. Starlene’s experience includes two decades of working in the human service field with clients from diverse backgrounds in multiple capacities. As a mental health clinician she has assisted clients in stabilization and community integration. Starlene strongly emphasizes on a person centered approach using Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) with clients to aid in coping mechanisms. Starlene strives to use her education and voice to promote change combating the stigma related to mental health as an advocate for better access to treatment. In her free time, she enjoys experimenting with her favorite foods creating healthier versions, enjoying the sun and spending time at the beach, and her dedication to personal health and wellness.
