Shawna Biscotti has a Master's degree in Human & Social Services and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology both earned from Walden University. Shawna has personal experience of how abuse and trauma impacts individuals and their mental health. Her personal journey set in motion the passion to get her education in the Mental Health field so she could empower others through their journey. She has supported individuals who have experienced trauma, abuse, toxic relationships, anxiety and depression through encouraging clients to utilize coping skills. Her practices include, grounding techniques, SMART goal-setting, lifestyle changes (exercising, balanced diet, etc.) build healthy boundaries and a support system and practice self care. She has been a "cheerleader" to individuals on their journey to a healthier and confident self. Shawna brings awareness regarding the importance of Mental Health Wellness using her education and experience. In her free time, she loves to be outdoors (hiking, swimming, gardening), being with her family, as well as listening to music of all genres and watching sports.
