ABOUT Savannah B. Higgins

Savannah received her Masters Degree in Social Work from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Human Services from Troy University. She is a military veteran and former preschool teacher certified in meditation instruction through Meditation Alliance International and trained in Gottman Method couples therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing.

Savannah works mainly from a strengths-based empowerment perspective while incorporating cognitive-behavioral and systems frameworks. It is her goal to facilitate your free expression, highlight your natural abilities, and strengthen your overall self-awareness and self-appreciation. 

Her special interests include working with activists and change makers, military spouses and service members, and marginalized genders.

In her free time, Savannah enjoys roller skating, yoga, traveling, and watching movies.
