Sara Richison holds a Mater's degree in Counseling from Wayland Baptist University. Sara understands personally the struggles of unresolved mental health issues, and how they can effect our day to day life, as well as relationships. She was able to accept help during a tough season of her own life, and now works to help others who struggle with their own mental health. Sara has experience working with all ages of individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, ADHD, codependency, victims of abuse, and poor self-esteem. Sara will utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person Centered Therapy to help individuals learn thought restructuring, goal-setting, mindfulness, coping and relaxation techniques, as well as positive self-talk. Her mission in life is to help others with their mental health so they can understand their own worth and potential. In her free time, Sara enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, having coffee with a friend, or relaxing on the couch and reading a good book.
