ABOUT Sandy M. Seward

Sandy Seward is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate as well as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern. She holds a Master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling from Texas A&M University-Kingsville. As a Military Career Counselor, she helps service members through career development, personal challenges, and life role transitions. Sandy’s experience includes assisting clients develop (Specific, Measurable, Action Oriented, Realistic, and Timely) S.M.A.R.T. goals, providing guidance on career development techniques, and coping skills to managing stress. She uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help clients build confidence and achieve their goals. Sandy is enthusiastic about using her experience and education to improve her clients wellbeing and mental health. In her free time, she enjoys calligraphy and handwriting, lounging with her pets, and binge watching her favorite shows.
