Sandrelys Almonte holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Capella University. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Wellness Management from the State University of New York at Oswego. As a social service worker Sandrelys has experience working with children, adolescents, single parents and families. With her experience in this field, Sandrelys has worked with clients of all ages who endure depression, bipolar disorder , PTSD and other mental health diagnoses, which has continued to promote and advocate the importance of mental health services. Sandrelys has extensive experience in various settings including schools and community based mental health care. She uses talk therapy also called Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help clients reach their goals. Sandrelys works towards promoting the importance of mental health care and empowering others to receive the help they need. In her free time, she enjoys reading, making DIY crafts, spending time with her family, traveling and is a huge fan of fantasy fiction movies and books.
