Safira holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. As a relative of close ones who have lived with and struggled mightily in the battle with mental illnesses, Safira has first-hand awareness on the impact these issues can have but has also seen from experience how much life can change positively for those who find support and take the steps needed to help themselves. Safira’s experience includes working with adolescents and young adults to utilize a number of methods such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to helping her clients cope with the issues they’re diagnosed with.Safira has a warm and supportive approach based on collaboration to work together on establishing concrete goals and steps to help you overcome the problems you’re dealing with.
In her free time, she enjoys being with her two little boys and traveling to explore the world and everything it has to experience!
