Renee Parker holds a bachelors degree in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University, and is currently finishing her Masters in Psychology. She holds her state certification as a drug and alcohol counselor and is certified as a medication assisted treatment specialist.
As a consumer of mental health services herself, Renee knows the importance of being able to connect with providers, and building a relationship that allows clients to feel comfortable.
Renee's experience includes working with those who have severe mental illnesses, addiction and various degrees of anxiety and depression. She has experience in CBT, Matrix Model, Motivational Interviewing, and skills development.
Renee believes in utilizing person centered planning, in order to meet the client where they are at in their lives, and to make treatment as personal as possible.
In her free time, she enjoys gardening (or being in nature in any capacity), raising chickens, and spending time with her three sons.
