Nicole holds a Master's degree in Counseling from National University, specializing in both Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Clinical Counseling. Nicole has not only been educated in mental health, she also has lived experience, having personally navigated living life with ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, and Insomnia. She will tell you, there is hope and healing on this journey. Over the years, she has developed a tool belt of coping skills and will happily help you build your own tool belt, filled with skills that work best for you. Nicole believes in empowering and encouraging clients to take back their power, embrace their strengths and self-worth, and work toward finding joy in their lives. She has a client centered approach that centers on positive psychology, incorporating visualization, behavior activation, positive self-talk, reframing, mindfulness, and goal setting. Nicole is passionate about walking alongside clients on their healing journeys. In her free time, Nicole enjoys spending time with her two children, 3 hairless cats, her green cheek conure, and is passionate about her love of crystals and going on rock hunting adventures.
