Anna Williamson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida Institute of Technology and is working on her Master’s degree in Social Work at the University of South Florida.
An immigrant from the United Kingdom with origins working in a foster care group home, Anna found numerous limitations for access to quality mental health care for individuals of all ages. Anna has worked with a wide range of mental health concerns from past experience in community-outreach social work and has seen first-hand the impacts of unresolved trauma and missing links to healthy coping skills from adolescence into adulthood.
Anna’s experience includes foster care group home work as well as therapeutic mentoring and case management for families and individuals of all ages, working to foster positive relationship building, as well as to introduce and strengthen an individual’s coping skills, including reframing, mindfulness, positive self-talk and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in a way that is unique to the individual and practical for every-day use.
Anna’s mission is to utilize her education and compassion to introduce mental wellness and self-love into every facet of daily living.
In her free time, she enjoys watching football and hockey, spending time with her three dogs and cat, and playing golf!
