Monica Rhodes holds a Masters degree in School Guidance Counseling from the Indiana University Southeast. Monica is currently in nursing school, as she ultimately wants to become a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She currently works for the Department of Corrections where the bulk of her caseload have dual diagnoses. Her passion to help those in needs is unmatched. Monica uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness and assist clients as they navigate and identify positive coping skills. Monica prides herself on being able to use not only her education, but her experience to educate and promote mental health and wellness in the clients that she serves. In her free time, she loves to read, dance, travel, sing and of course talk. She loves spending time with her family and praying and/or meditating. She is University of Kentucky fanatic.
